Volunteers & Training Co-ordinator
£14,141 for 17.5 hours a week post, fixed term until 28.2.2027.
Deaf-initely Women is looking to recruit a deaf or deafblind woman to work as a Volunteers & Training Co-ordinator to recruit, train and supervise volunteers to join our dynamic and exciting team.

The post holder will work 17.5 hours spread over 5 days a week, between the hours of 10am – 2pm from our office in Belper. The post is not suitable for home working.
The post holder will:
- be passionate about the benefits of volunteering, for volunteers and improving the inclusion of Deafblind, Ddeaf and hard of hearing women to participate in heritage activities, enabling them to learn and soak up the historical atmosphere and enrichment.
- have excellent communication skills (with or without communication professionals) including communicating in BSL.
- recruit, train, support and supervise a team of volunteers undertaking various roles.
- work with Deaf Gals Go Back in Time team to collectively achieve project’s outputs and outcomes.
This vacancy is open to deaf and deafblind women only (Exempt under the Equality Act 2010, pursuant to schedule 9, Part 1).
