The project aims to help reduce the inequalities in healthcare research, break down barriers, improve communications, and generate better health outcomes overall.
We know that BME Communities are regularly under-represented in health care, and medical research. They are also often under-served by health and care services. The Rebalance project aims to help 'rebalance' this inequality and the under-representation of BME communities within healthcare research.
Links CVS is the partner organisation (alongside lead partner Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust) on this project due to a strong working relationship with the member groups of the Derbyshire BME Forum
